The main objective of seeing whales in their natural habitat was fully met. We saw dozens and this was really fabulous and much appreciated. I understand the onboard naturalist gives a good account but sadly where we were seated on the starboard side next to a large noisy ventilation unit the public address system was just not up to it so I am sorry to say I learned nothing as I heard nothing. It wasnā€™t possible to move as the boat was crammed full and there were passengers without seats so we couldnā€™t risk losing them.

We saw many whales doing all sorts of things whales do, including leaping out of the water. And we enjoyed being out on the water, where it was cool and breezy on such a hot day.

What a well-run whale watch tour company! The staff was friendly and helpful. The on-board naturalist was so knowledgeable; all we learned about whales from her - while we were experiencing a whale real time - was an unexpected treat. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and highly recommend Cape Ann Whale Watch!
