We met at the Belvedere with a small group of people. Our guide, Regina, gave us earpieces and the tour began. We spent a little time there then headed to other parts of the city. As we walked, she told us different stories regarding Louisville's history, slavery, and the bourbon trade. As a local, I found it very interesting. We stopped for a little break at O'Sheas. Regina picked up our drinks at the bar (some.had pre-ordered cocktails, we had water). She continued to tell us about some speakeasy's, a murder in a local hotel. We finished up our drinks and continued on walking around the city, with Regina pointing out several murals, buildings and telling us some fun facts about the city. It was an easy walk. It was cold and rainy. I appreciate how organized, professional, knowledgeable and kind our tour guide was. I'd definitely recommend this tour!
