We took this ride only 14 miles out from Skagway as a bridge is out and you can't go any further we were told. The price on here lists as $50 but we paid approx. $100 on the ship to do this trip of 14 miles. We did see beautiful scenery and we did enjoy it but we should have booked it on our own ahead of time and saved half the price. It was nice to stand outside the rail car and enjoy the scenery from there but then you can't hear what is being said about the environment.

Billie was the absolute BEST tour guide/driver! She has been a resident of Skagway for 23 years and knew all sort of inside information that she shared along the way. She stopped multiple times for the 8 of us to get out and take pictures as she told us about the sights we were seeing! I would rate higher her than a 5* for the value we got. So much better than the train, I think

Easier to see and photograph the scenery than on the train. More personable, too. The multiple stops were good for photos.
