We were running late due to a crash on the freeway, we called to let them know we were running about 15 mins behind and they were super cool and waited for us. Once we got there we suited up in a neoprene wetsuit, jacket, rubber shoes, life vest and a rain jacket, all of this is for our safety and comfort. You should wear anything thatās dry weave under the gear, I wore a sports bra, leggings and a long sleeve dry weave shirt. You are also given a helmet and gloves for protection. It is recommended not to wear anything made of cotton because it will hold in the cold and it takes longer to dry. Once our group was geared up, our tour guide went over went over the equipment and safety procedures. This is very important information so pay attention. Our tour guide was very entertaining and had a lot stories to tell when we were not being toss around. This is a C3 rated rapid so there were a few exhilarating moments. White Salmon had one C4 drop and that was the best part of this journey. I highly recommend PDX RAFTING. I canāt wait to try a C4 rated rapid.
