The whole experience was sensational starting with the airboat tour as the captain took us in close counter with a few alligators and pointed us into the direction of other wildlife animals during the tour. We then went ahead and visit Gatorland which is part of the package once you booked an airboat tour. Our final stop was the Drive-Thru Safari which we encounter many animals in close contact during the drive which takes about an hour or so to drive through the whole park. The only disappointing part of the whole experience was the kids unable to feed the Giraffe after purchasing tickets which they look forward in experiencing. It seems the Giraffe was recently feed which was the reason we were not able to feed the Giraffe as they didn’t want to force feed them again in a short period and understandable. I was refunded back right away since our trip ended.

The airboat ride was awesome. Capt Farmer took us to a spot where a gator seemed to be just drifting but seconds later he dove and came up with a huge fish !! That was so cool ! We walked through the animal exhibits and my wife and grandson participated in the sloth encounter. What neat animals. Grandson enjoyed feeding the birds in the aviary. We did the drive through and was impressed by the animals and how healthy they looked. All of a sudden a camel, walked in front of our car and wouldn't move. Well, we couldn't blow the horn so we just sat there as traffic backed up. In a little bit a ranger pick up came and the camel followed it off the road and we all waved and drove by. We found out later that the camel is named Sid and he has figured out that if he gets in the road and stops traffic that the rangers will come and entice him with some goodies to move. Sid is one smart camel !!! We got to feed the giraffes and that was pretty neat also. they have beautiful eyes and eye lashes. Everything about the entire day was top notch. The animals everywhere looked healthy and everything was spotless clean. I recommend this wholeheartedly!!!
