My family (all adults but that wasn’t an option to select) went today and it was so fun! It would be great for families with kids too!! You get to drive through the safari at your own pace and can actually drive though multiple times if you want. We drove through twice! We went during the middle of the day and there was so many animals out! The only interaction you need to have with people is getting your safari guide. The employee was wearing a mask but no gloves for the hand off. If you didn’t pay in advance you would also need to interact with an employee to get your tickets. If you did pay in advance they just scan your phone for the QR code. I believe for the price of the ticket you can also go into the zoo area but we chose not to because we are trying to stay away from crowds. You could also feed the Giraffes at the end of the safari but there was a line (looked like they were trying to keep people 6 feet apart) but we didn’t want to risk it. This was a beautiful piece of land with beautiful old Florida vegetation. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to get out of their house and remain socially distant.

My sun and I did the safari in the early morning on labor day; it was awesome! Get there early in the summer months and in holidays, there was a line nearby a mile long waiting to get in to the safari at 1:00! The 1/2 hour airboat ride was just perfect! (Bring some cash to tip your airboat your guy). And then of course, the walk through zoo. It was great! It's small which gives you the chance to be up close and personal! The thing that impressed me the most was the staff! Every single person, from the greeters at the safari, the ticket people in the gift shop, the concession workers... every single person we meet was so very helpful and kind. Thank you for a great day!

Of everything there is to do, the one thing my child couldnt do was feed the giraffes. The enclosure is by steps only to reach the giraffes head and be eye to eye with them to feed them. No wheelchair chair lift to make it accessible. Imagine having to explain to a child. After a morning of animals, an airboat ride, all accessible, the last adventure was a complete letdown.

Hi Taylor, I am so sorry to see this. We do have a ramp that goes up to the giraffe feeding platform, it's just past the stairs. I am so sorry that you were not able to make it up there. Please reach out to us at [email protected] so we can take care of this for you!
