This trip was great! The scenery, the experience, awesome. But what made the trip even better was the staff and guides at New Wave. These people are wonderful and go that extra mile to make sure that everything is a great experience for you personally. Chaz and Barbie were our guides, when we were getting into the drysuits , I was struggling a bit due to an old leg injury. Chaz assisted me with the suit but in such a way as to shield my struggles from the other customers, saved me from that embarrassment. That is going above and beyond! Guides were knowledgeable of the wildlife and the points of interest, very receptive to questions. Peacock shuttled us from the landing back to HQ and after unsuiting took us back to our resort. The extra touches matter. Peacock recognized that I was having leg issues and offered to let me ride in front with him where there was extra leg room. While we were getting out of our drysuits, Peacock attended to the van making sure the seats were clean and dry for ride back to the resort. That folks is professional attention to detail.

Our family of six did the Wilderness Wave rafting experience recently and had a great time. The ten-year old seemed dubious at first, especially after having to put on a dry suit. Near the end of the ride, she was heard exclaiming “I’m never getting off!!” It is a fairly gentle ride, but Dylan did his best to satisfy the pleadings of the ten and twelve-year-olds to get splashed. Being a good raftsman, he generally succeeded! He was a nice guy. The staff in the shop is also great. They were patient in helping us all get those darn dry suits fitted and sealed. Highly recommended!
