Had an amazing raft trip! Our guide, Kyle, was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and excellent at rowing even the trickiest parts of the river. He was able to tell us about the rocks and terrain as we went, plus kept everyone in the raft engaged. Thanks, Kyle, you made it a great time.

We scheduled a raft trip for our second day in Denali. You have a choice of the tougher rapids where you help row the boat or an easier trip where you just sit on the boat and watch the scenery while your guide does all the work. We chose the easier trip because I'm lazy and besides, we're on vacation. Our guide, J Money, was amazing. He made sure we weren't scared, as for some, this was our first raft trip. We felt safe the entire time. We just sat back and enjoyed the scenery while J Money paddled us, seemingly effortlessly through the rapids, including one stretch of Class 3 rapids. We became tired just watching him. At the same time, he regaled us with tales of Denali history and his previous experience of being an Italian chef, hang gliding instructor, as well as a river guide in various states. He even showed us his moose call, but sadly, no moose responded. He was amazing.and his hard work was appreciated. We were a bit apprehensive at first, but J Money made it a relaxing, wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Our guide Bela made the ride fun and interesting! Some splashes and waves but pretty mellow and fun. The dry suits they give keep you surprisingly dry. Recommend !
