We booked this during our post-cruise visit to Denali with Princess. As a grandmother, I booked things like bus trips and a covered wagon ride. My adventurous daughter encouraged me to book a family rafting trip. I am so glad we did! New Wave provided everything we needed to go out on the river- drysuits and river shoes, with expert help in how to put them on! When we got things on backwards and upside down, they were kind and friendly in helping us get everything just right. Staff was patient and explained everything to prepare us for the experience. We just had to hold on and enjoy the ride. Our expert and friendly guide, Laithan, did all the rowing. He did let my eleven year old granddaughter take a turn with the oars! The scenery was incredible and the rapids were great fun! The trip was remarkable and a highlight of our time in Alaska!

This rafting experience was wonderfully thrilling! Our guide, Cat, did an awesome job giving us a fun time, with lots of great splashes and good stories. The river was high due to recent rains, never less, we were kept safe by Cat's great skills.
