What To Expect

Herring Cove

Then we’ll head to a fantastic spot to see some wildlife such as bears, eagles, otters, salmon, deer, and possibly other critters (Animals not guaranteed).

Next we’ll take a quick trip to go see a magnificent waterfall.

Saxman Native Village

After that we’ll finish up our tour with a trip to Saxmen totem park which has a wonderful display of 25 locally carved totem poles, a clan house on display, a carving shed where you can peek in on the local Native carvers when they’re around, and a gift shop for some souvenirs.

Definitely recommend this tour! We got to see so much of the area and hearing about all the local history with a wonderful guide who really knew Ketchikan. It was even a great adventure on a rainy October day. Would go again in a heartbeat!

Our tour guide was fantastic and made us feel welcome immediately. He wasted no time getting us to see cool things that appealed to both myself and my children. He packed in so many memories and made Ketchikan our favorite stop. The van was clean and comfortable and we were delivered to our ship on time. We had a way better time than others who booked tours through the cruise line.
