Overview

This is the most popular Rocky Mountain National Park tour modified for winter. The glory of winter in Estes Park showcases tremendous photo opportunities. During the beautiful winter months, we take you through the lower portion of the park and up Trail Ridge Road as high as possible. Along the way, you will go sledding, you will see and have the chance to walk to a roaring (or icy) waterfall and walk around a lake with stunning views, and diverse wildlife surrounding you.

Our custom tour vehicles offer unparalleled views and photo opportunities with crystal clear Lexan windows on all sides, even the roof! We use the best quality winter tires on our 4-wheel drive trucks with safety in mind. Also, for your comfort, blankets and even a powerful heater are on board in our fully enclosed convertible tour truck. Your knowledgeable and entertaining guide will offer fun historical facts and photography assistance, as well as hot cocoa, water, and snacks along the way.

What To Expect

Rocky Mountain National Park

One of our experienced and talented guides will meet you at our office in one of our custom tour vehicles. From there we will make our way to the Rocky Mountain National Park where we will provide you with the history of the National Park, go over types of flora and fauna that call this area home, and take some time to enjoy the beautiful scenery. We also provide water, hot cocoa, and snacks to make your time with us as enjoyable as possible.

The tour was amazing! We had Wayne and absolutely loved him! He had so much knowledge about the animals, trees, history of the Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park! He was very entertaining and had personal stories which we loved! He even kept the kids entertained with his stories! This tour is a definite must and would recommend to anyone visiting the area! Beautiful sites and have time to slow down and enjoy the views while learning so many cool facts! Thanks Wayne- from your friends in Florida!

My wife and I are locals and wanted a fun weekend trip. We booked the winter wonderland trip as it sounded like a cool experience. Our tour guide was fun and knowledgeable. The sliding was a blast and the views were great! We saw some wildlife along the way aswell. Would highly recommend whether you're an adult or a kid you'll be guaranteed to have a great time.

Wesley was an amazing guide! He loves nerding-out on the ecosystems and really enlightened us on how majestic and miraculous how all the trees and systems work together in the Rockies. We had beautiful weather! We loved the waterfall! It’s an easy walk up to it, smooth path. My hubby and daughter had never been sledding and it was so fun and topped it off with tasty hot chocolate for the ride back down the mountain! (This time of year, Trail Ridge Rd is closed so they can’t go as high up in RMNP but it was still a lot of fun and I recommend it!) Wesley was so helpful and entertaining (he does fantastic animal impressions too!)
