Willamette Valley Character Winery Tour

Overview

Does one of you prefer wine, while the other prefers spirits? Or maybe you're someone who appreciates both. On this tour, we'll have something for both palates. We'll take you to at least 2 vineyards and at least 1 distillery, representing a variety of settings, wines, and personalities. Your guide will introduce you to the Willamette Valley AVA while camaraderie develops among your small group. You will be wafted away to wine country while we provide you with background on the history, terroir, and character of Willamette Valley wine. We'll select among the 500 Willamette Valley wineries, and 6 distilleries located the heart of wine country, and specific requests may be accommodated. We'll wander through the rolling hills of multiple Willamette Valley sub-AVAs, passing through charming little villages, while making stops at some of the most unique boutique wineries. Lunch is included, tasting fees are not.

What To Expect

Willamette Valley

You will visit tasting rooms, wineries, and vineyards located in the most beautiful part of the Willamette Valley AVA; a countryside characterized by rolling, pastoral hills and subdivided into distinct AVAs.

Cher, our tour guide, narrated the trip with interesting tid bits on this excursion with friends. We visited three wineries, two with gorgeous views of the rolling hills and with knowledgeable sommeliers. For pinot lovers this is heaven. Lunch at the third spot was yummy. We had city views on the trip to and from Willamette Valley.

I am a solo traveller, love Pinot noir, and wanted to check out Willamette Valley for the first time. It was overwhelming having to think about which wineries to try out in one day. This tour was able to ease my mind in having the wineries chosen with reservations made. The wineries that were picked for the tour were perfect and exactly what I was looking for! The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and he made it a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. Thank you for hosting me!

Me and my girl friends had a lovely ladies trip out to Oregon. The Terran wine tour was definitely the highlight of the trip! We sampled some amazing wineries and had a nice lunch with a view. Marcus was very knowledgeable about the area, the local industries, the vineyards, and the winemakers. (Get your Oregon trivia knowledge ready.) The box lunch was perfect. It was well portioned, including chips and water (we also got cookies), and very tasty! It was an eventful day with lifelong memories that we will cherish! I would recommend to go with Terran for this activity and any others they offer. When I come back to Oregon, I will seek out their services again!
