We had a fabulous day on bikes through the Santa Ynez valley. We were picked up in Santa Barbara at our hotel by Scott (our tour guide) and his wife Dorothy. Very nice people. We drove to the shop in Solvang and were fitted with Specialized bikes. My husband had a hip issue and they were ready to bring him an e bike if needed but he did great. We made stops at the miniature horse farm, the lavender farm, had an olive oil tasting and then stopped at Doug Ditmar’s apple farm. He had wonderful crispins and sommerfelds for tasting and for purchase. We then stopped at Beckman’s winery for a wonderful lunch in the gazebo and then a wine tasting. It was about 16 miles covered over the day. Nice easy ride. Scott was a history buff and gave us a great tour of the area. Very much worth it.

My girlfriend and I had such an excellent time on this trip, the E-bike option allowed her to keep up with myself and our tour guide Scott. Scott is a retired educator and gave us phenomenal history around the solvang area as well as some great small talk. The bikes themselves were top of the line and we rode a total of about 26.5 at my behest, he is happy to add on some extra miles if you want to push it. The farm to lunch table exceeded my expectations, Louise prepared an excellent schmorgesborg (smoregesborg?) and we chowed down after working up an appetite, the olive oil tasting was phenomenal and definitely is worth picking up a bottle to take home. The trip tries to keep everything on the tour locally sourced and family owned places, including the winery, the olive oil and the lavender farm. Could not recommend more, if you are looking to do a bike tour in the Solvang are look no further, this is the best around

My fiance and I joined SB Wine Country Cycling Tours for a wonderful bike tour with our best friends. Our guide, Neal, was very knowledgeable of the area and eager to show us a great time. We were treated to a first class farmers market lunch at a winery. Ashley the chef was amazing and the food she prepared was restaurant-quality! We're big on organic and healthy eating, so this was just perfect for us. The bikes performed great and the route was beautiful. I highly recommend this outfit. We will definitely go on a tour with these guys again!
