Our trip was wonderful, very cold in the morning, but warming up the whole time. Conditions were perfect, we flew nearly 7 miles, almost twice as far as usual for a one hour flight. Our excellent pilot answered all our questions about ballooning and kept us entertained the whole time. He expertly set the balloon down in a field, exactly where he pointed to about 20 minutes before landing, even "flaring out" with a blast on the burner just before touchdown, to make it a nice and soft landing. He took a lot of pics with a GoPro camera hanging outside the balloon, which was a very good idea, so you can pull out the best ones. At the end of the flight, we walked a quarter mile down the hill to get in vans that were waiting for us, but they let my dad ride in one of their trucks, which was thoughtful, since he is almost 90. Then it was a short ride back to the winery, for an excellent buffet breakfast with champagne. A truly memorable experience, all the way. It was very well organized, they had 88 people flying that day, but there was no waiting around, just get in the balloon and go! We felt we received excellent value for our money, and would do it again, in a heartbeat! Some of my best pics ever!

My boyfriend has booked the balloon trip for celebrating the birthday on late Nov. it was cold there when arrived to the valley at 6:30 am. Coffee and muffin served before the briefing. We have a nice ride with Bob, the new hot air balloon in yellow & blue color. The weather was good with wind speed 16m/ hr with nice and warm sunshine. Our Captain Bob is funny. He introduces the landscape while the whole trip and gives a good landing. He has been balloon captain for more than 20 years. Reminder: Bring along the sun glasses coz the view is very nice while sun rise and don't forget to give a big smile to have group pictures on 1800 feet height ;] The pictures will be one of your wonderful memory. Of course, you need to buy the pictures if want. Staffs there are very nice as well. As both of us are 1st time visiting Napa, they introduce us to visit Castle De Amouror and join the wine tasting. They make our trip more wonderful. I would like to thank you them all.
