Donā€™t get me wrong, we really enjoyed our day and made some unforgettable memories; however our tour wasnā€™t exactly what we expected. They picked us up from our Airbnb, which was awesome! When I booked, it was stated that we would be picked up between 10 and 10:45. We got a confirmation call the day before saying that we would be picked up at 12:00. Our guide got there around 1 because of detours. It was also not what I would consider luxury transportation. The first winery (Alcantara) was beautiful! But thatā€™s when we realized that it wasnā€™t a wine tour like we were used to. There were lines to taste the wines that we didnā€™t learn anything about, and we felt awkward standing in line to taste them. I guess we shouldā€™ve gone back to the table for each taste? The second winery (Javelina) was my favorite as far as wine flights. They were very helpful here, but still didnā€™t learn much about the wine. This is where we had our picnic lunch, which was exactly as noted. We were told that the next winery (Oak Creek) had a 30 wait and that Page Springs was better anyways, so we only went to 3 wineries. We also didnā€™t get to do the tour production facility or barrel room as stated in the overview on viator. I would say that I donā€™t think we quite got the experience at Page Springs as other people who have taken this tour. The day ended with a very nice video that had been made for us from pictures during the day. It was a nice touch. Overall, it wasnā€™t what we expected, but we made the best of it and had a great day. I would maybe suggest looking into other ā€œmore organizedā€ wine tours in the area.

As you said. "Donā€™t get me wrong, we really enjoyed our day and made some unforgettable memories;" Well, here are a few "memories" you did overlook. You were upgraded to a private tour with a celebrity TV host Rachel Reenstra, one of best our guides. This private tour is normally $179 per person. You did not pay for this upgrade. The tour guide was a few minutes late, not the "hour" you purported. We have this documented. Because of the wait at Oak Creek Winery, you were offered different options, and you chose to skip that winery and spend more time at Page Springs Cellars. The Barrel room tour did not happen at Javelina Leap because the winery was in full production mode and the room was closed to all visitors. Rachel was kind enough to extend your tour time an extra 90 mins. The tour is five hours long and your tour was six and a half hours long. In your review you said. "The day ended with a very nice video that had been made for us from pictures during the day. It was a nice touch." This video is NOT include in all our tours. This was a nice gift that Rachel decided to give you. She provided a guitar, a free drink for the birthday girl, a birthday gift, a personalized video and an extra 90 minutes to the tour. In the video that was comped you, it was stated. "This is at this was the best tour I've taken in Sedona!" Here is another memory you might have forgot. When Rachel dropped your party off it was mentioned to her. That you would not be giving her/us a five star review unless she would meet you that night at Mooneys Irish pub 'to hang out with' after the tour. It is our company policy for our guides to not fraternize with guests after the tour. The only thing we can assume, is that because she did not extend her time and meet your party out later- she received- as your party promised if she did NOT meet you out- a 3 star review. We recommend you follow your own advice and find a different wine tour company to deal with...maybe they will enjoy being blackmailed. .
