John was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Anchorage. He kept it interesting and he kept my family engaged. My family also enjoyed the Wildlife Conservatory and the glaciers. John kept it fun. In my opinion, the cost was not worth $185. It should have been a lot less, maybe a $100 at the most.

Our Wilderness, Wildlife, Glacier Experience is an ideal source to be guided into the wilderness that surrounds Anchorage. The drive along the coastal highway allows amble opportunity to view gorgeous views of mountains, eagles, wildlife and gain knowledge of Anchorage and its related region. The colorful history is rich in stories of native alaskans, gold miner fables and their accomplishments. Multiple mountain peaks that pierce high clouds are identified with background of the geological past. Our highly trained guides lead their entire groups with safety at their highest goal. The Wilderness, Wildlife, Glacier Expience offers discount for Seniors, Youth and Children under 10 are free. As a company of responsibility we donate 1% of annual gross sales to those who help nurture the world we all live and share. Please contact us to better describe how our Wilderness, Wildlife, Glacier Experience is a premium excursion that should not be compared to self-guiding, shuttle or rental travel that offers very little in finding, understanding, explaining or caring about you, our guests.

There were a number of positives to the tour - the guide was knowledgeable and nice and shared a lot of interesting information about Alaska, its history and wildlife. The majority of time was spent at the wildlife center. Lots of interesting animals there and the guide shared great info. It was a bit like going to a zoo. The glacier was beautiful to see, albeit from a distance. One negative: at the start of the tour the guide said that heā€™d take photos throughout the day and then share them with us. After the tour we were texted photos ā€œfrom todayā€, but looking closely they appeared to be shot a different day as the animals that were sleeping during our visit were active in the photos, and other animals were in locations theyā€™d not been. I would still likely do this tour, but didnā€™t have the rave experience of some others.
