Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center
At the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center visitors are free to explore over 140 acres of natural habitat home to bears, moose, reindeer, lynx and other native wildlife.

Beluga Point
The point is a definite must stop location as the views are spectacular! Beluga Point, a rocky outpost jutting into the waters of Turnagain Arm, is just south of Anchorage along the Seward Highway. It’s named for the white whales that are often spotted from this location as they make their way up and down the inlet. Beluga's are often seen between July and August.
3
Seward Highway
Alaska's Turnagain Arm on the Seward Highway is among those voted as one of the country's most unforgettable, must see areas of Alaska. MANY HAVE SAID THAT IF YOU MISS VISITING SIGHTS ALONG THE TURNAGAIN ARM- - YOU HAVE MISSED ALASKA!
4
Portage Glacier
Portage Valley is a 14 mile isthmus that connects the Kenai Peninsula to mainland Alaska. Portage Glacier once extended the entire length of the valley. The glacial remnants seen today are Explorer, Middle, Byron, Burns, and Shakespeare glaciers. While still massive in size, these glaciers stand as smaller reminders of the immense ice sheets that once covered this landscape.

We had fantastic time with out guide Matthew. He was extremely knowledgeable about the everything Alaska, after all he has been native for the past 32 years. He was very helpful, patient and assisted with our needs during the ride. We made plenty of stops and attractions to see.

I have lived in Alaska all my life and have not toured around Anchorage before. This was a treat. Our guide Matthew was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the area. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The Wildlife Center was very nice; I'll definitely go back during the summer to see all the animals and birds. It is the right amount of time, and the price was very reasonable. A must do! Joining a tour takes the hassle out of driving and you learn a lot from the guide.

Matthew, our Tour Guide, made the day awesome in every way! He was friendly & fun, and SO very knowledgeable about Alaska. We learned so much about a variety of places and animals. The weather was rainy and snowy, but we all had a great time, mostly because Matthew did an outstanding job making sure we were comfy and safe, while learning and sharing with each other. We highly recommend this excursion, be sure to ask for Matthew. Thanks so much!
