My fiance and I had a really great experience at the wolf sanctuary! We both love wolves and this was our first time seeing them up close. Really beautiful animals and the sanctuary is well cared for. We don't normally visit zoos because of the ethics involved, but we are happy to support sanctuary's such as WWS that promote wildlife conservation and education, and aren't profiting off breeding. We didn't pet any wolves, nor did we expect to. To confirm, this is not a Carole Baskin/ Tiger King type situation.

Toured the sanctuary by myself for my birthday. I loved the place- its beautiful and the facilitators actually care of whom they are caring for. The only downside was that I couldn't play with the wolves because of corona. I will be coming back when the world is back to normal!

We had a wonderful experience seeing the wolves, hearing them howling to each other and begging for scratches and belly rubs from our guide. The educational portion was very informative and interesting providing a great context of how and why wolves are of major importance to the eco-system. Highly recommended!
