My best friend and I visited Chicago for the first time and did a number of tours while there, but this was our favorite! As Chicago newbies, it helped us get to know the history, architecture, cool spots to dine at or visit, and all kinds of unusual or little-known Chicago facts that none of our other tours/activities covered. We also had 2 Chicago natives and 2 Chicago transplants on our tour who found it just as fascinating and enjoyable as we did, so this tour is truly a great fit for anyone. Ronnie was so knowledgeable and fun - he couldn't have been a better tour guide! The pace is leisurely (ample photo taking time!) and yet still covers a lot of architectural styles. I will be recommending this tour to everyone I know who is visiting Chicago!

Ronnie the tourā€™s creator couldnā€™t have been nicer in arranging to accommodate us 4 sisters long weekend in Chicago. We only had a narrow window on our day of departure but he managed to schedule the walking tour to fit our schedule. He did a great job of zeroing in on the details (who knew Italianate style was so in vogue) and he pointed out so many details that would have been missed had we been walking by these homes on our own. His delivery of information is well researched and we highly recommend his insightful take on a microcosm of Chicagoā€™s history.

Ronnie gave a knowledgeable and interesting walking tour of the many period ā€œcottages.ā€ The pace was leisurely and he allowed ample time for questions and discussion.
