The wet and wild WOW The Vegas Spectacular transports audiences to an intimate underwater ""World of Wonder."" Since 2017, Rio Las Vegas audiences have been flocking to this liquid omnibus teeming with twirling, flipping, diving and dancing. Thirty international dancers and acrobats dazzle theatergoers in a show that includes everything from jugglers and clowns to stunt skaters, high-flying aerial artists and the most stunning reenactment of William Tell's apple stunt you'll ever witness.

Wow - The Vegas Spectacular

Get ready for a display that brings the fantastical world of the sea to life, using vivid lights and dazzling performances to make one of the grandest spectacles on stage. WOW uses a combination of brilliant visual effects and outstanding acrobatic talent to deliver a whole array of wonders. Hosted in the Rio Showroom and developed by the famed director Hanoch Rosenn, this extravagant circus-style show features the talents of more than 30 performing artists in an immersive 180-degree setting. Follow the action as they dance, flip, and fly through a world of multimedia projections, water walls, and holograms, all animated by a magnificent musical score. With a cast featuring finalists from America's Got Talent and some of the most dazzling choreography you can see on stage, the show defies the limits of your imagination to keep you transfixed from beginning to end. Be ready to be wowed by an incredible, intimate water show like nothing else in the city.

Given the hype and its name, we were expecting more than the show delivered. We sat in "premium" seats that in reality were convention seats and were on the side making the holograms difficult to see. The show itself started out very slow. We were actually bored! I was a bit embarrassed that I'd decided to attend, and was even embarrassed for the performers. The pirate routine with the bathtub sized boats was pretty lame, although I guess if the producers were going for campy then they hit the mark. The clown act was also not very well thought out and I cringed whenever I heard his laugh. The show could be improved significantly with the addition of a male and a female singer to carry the musical aspect and allow the dancers to play backup instead of lead. The acrobats were impressive. In conclusion, the show is relatively inexpensive and kid friendly, so is suitable for those with a large family and/or those on a tight budget. But get tickets in the middle so you can see the holograms. Also, at showtime the ushers will direct groups to move forward making the theatre first come first serve, and also making mad those who paid for better seats. If you've seen a Cirque show or Absynthe, Wow-A Vegas Mediocrity will disappoint.

The name of the show befits it. It was just amazing! Very humorous and geared for all ages. I loved it.
