Wynwood Street Art Tour

Overview
Explore the Wynwood Art District (a section of Miami) on this guided, 1 hour 15 min walking tour. Wynwood is home to art galleries, retail stores, eclectic bars, unique restaurants, and one of the largest open-air "museums" in the world. Picture a neighborhood whose every wall is covered in murals of all kinds: funny, beautiful, provocative, political, cartoon-like, realistic, surreal, and silly. A guide will accompany you on this tour to tell you about the history of this once-neglected area and the ongoing changes here. You will learn about the difference between graffiti and murals, about individual works of art, techniques, artists, and much more. Your appreciation for art, murals, and the Wynwood Art District will be deepened by the experience.

Excellent guide who knew about the Wynwood art scene and knew many of the artists. Now I'm a fan of street art.

I knew I wanted to see the murals and graffiti in Wynwood, and I felt a group tour would be the most efficient way to do this. The group was a great size—maybe 8 of us—but the best part of the tour was the guide, Luis. He is an actual mural/graffiti artist who used to live in the area. We got to see his works on the tour. He really gave us a great deal of inside information. I would recommend his tour very highly!

I made a reservation a few weeks in advance. On the morning of, they called to say that they didn't have staff for the reserved time. They offered to re-schedule or reimburse. Our schedule did not allow for another time and we asked to be reimbursed. Although they were very nice about it, that was disappointing.
