My family decided to come up to Tennessee for a couple of days to do some exploring and have some fun, and there is no question that white water rafting was the highlight of our trip! We split up into two groups and we had a blast. My raft was my sister, dad, cousin, myself, and our guide Vandon Schleutker. The rapids we’re amazing and we loved learning about the history and different parts of the river. We did some raft surfing, and got to swim a little bit too. My dad even got to jump out of the raft (when it was safe), and ride the rapids alone! We can’t speak highly enough of our guide Van. He was amazing, and made our rafting experience that much better. We can tell he knows what he is doing and works really hard to give the people in his raft a good time! He was a really cool guy, and If we ever come back we hope to have him again! Definitely recommend rafting here! Thanks again River Rats!

Our guide Spencer was very knowledgeable and experienced. The group I went with was a little more adventurous than most and Spencer made sure we got to try the toughest obstacles on the river. I would definitely go again! Next time will be in the spring though when the river levels would hopefully be up a little more, and the waters a bit more treacherous.

We had the best rafting experience last week with Brett. He made sure to give us the most extreme adventure! Surfing was awesome. It was all around a beautiful day, sunny, cool water, and exciting rapids. Brett was super fun, friendly, and knowledgeable so ask for him to go down the river. Plus, the river rat website was easy to use, staff friendly and responsible, picture purchase easy to receive and download, and overall very organized and safe.
