Overview

Explore Yellowstone on a 11-12 hour tour with a local guide. Set out FROM JACKSON HOLE, WY area to experience America's first national park. See its iconic Old Faithful, marvel at the Grand Canyon Waterfalls, and search for wildlife including grizzlies, bison, grey wolves, and more. This tour includes both a light breakfast, lunch and park entrance fees, as well as the use of binoculars.

For Tour Dates BEFORE May 13, since the South Entrance is closed, Tours will drive from Jackson to West Yellowstone to enter through the West Gate. Thus, we will not tour through Grand Teton Park from Apr 15-May 12.

No Animals of any kind are permitted on Tours, even service dogs.

We will drive through Grand Teton National Park on the way to Yellowstone and make a few stops along the way. The majestic, awe-inspiring Teton Mountain Range of the Rockies is the western edge of Grand Teton Park and Jackson Hole. With no foothills before them, these rugged 11,000-13,000+ peaks rise straight up from the Jackson Hole valley below.

Old Faithful

Experience the most iconic geyser in the world erupt with all of its explosive glory.

Upper Falls

See, hear and feel the thunderous power of the Yellowstone River plunge 109 feet over Upper Yellowstone Falls.

Hayden Valley

This beautiful, wildlife-rich valley between Yellowstone Lake and Upper Falls straddles the Yellowstone River and is prime habitat for bison, elk, grizzly bears, bald eagles and wolves.

My sister and I boarded the bus at 9:30 in the morning. We toured the whole south end of Yellowstone, stopping at different sites to get out and experience up close the sights, the animals and the breath taking views! We ended at Old Faithful and stayed until she blew. It was a most enjoyable day. The tour guide/bus driver was extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to listen to. We arrived back at our campsite at 6:30 pm.

John was our tour guide for the day and he was fantastic! Very knowledgeable about each place of interest and he has a great sense of humor. Why we even got a great video of big foot crossing the Snake River! The beauty of the Grand Tetons and the lower loop of Yellowstone are sights not to be missed. Thank you John, for taking such good care of us!

If you're looking for a one-day highlight tour of the "lower loop" of Yellowstone, you can't go wrong with this tour. Yes, it's a long day (12+ hours), but you get to see several highlights...while someone else drives! Guide Jeff was awesome and made it a point to involve everyone in the van/bus in the conversation. He was also willing to stop when we saw wildlife we wanted to photograph. Thanks again, Jeff!
