Access to the Sequoia Grove can be difficult during winter months, generally October through April, and other activities may be substituted at the discretion of the guide
During winter months, temperatures in Yosemite can vary drastically to the ones in San Francisco. Therefore, it is recommend to wear winter clothes, especially shoes or boots with rubber soles and treads
California law requires tour guests to bring a car safety seat for all children under 8 years and under 4' 9" (1.4 meters) in height. Any guest that does not provide their child's safety seat at the time of the tour and does not inform the tour operator may not be allowed to board the tour and will not be subject to refund.
As tour sizes vary, transportation is in a 13-passenger van or up to a 41-passenger tour bus
Tour makes stops at approximately 8:30am for breakfast, 1pm for lunch and on the trip back for dinner. Meals are not included

The Giant Sequoias Grove is located at a higher elevation and the hike is dependent on trail conditions, especially from October through May. Ice and snow might make the trail unsafe to hike. The decision of whether it is safe to go on the hike will be made on a day by day basis. Therefore, a visit cannot be guaranteed. However, while the trail might be closed, guests get to spend more time in Yosemite Valley. There you can see all the other great sights Yosemite has to offer, including El Capitan, Inspiration Point, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls and more.

I was very pleased with this travel. There was a fire in Yosemite, but Roman did all the things what he could do to make this trip complete. Lot of photo stops, convinient transportation. The Sequoias looked amazing. And we saw a bear :)

Had a great time on my day trip to Yosemite. Our driver, Gino, was super friendly and told lots of stories about all the areas we were passing through. Unfortunately some of the views were obscured by smoke from the nearby wildfires but it was still spectacular. Despite the fires near the park, we never felt unsafe. Really enjoyed the first stop at the giant sequoias and would have loved more time there. Gino stopped at all the best lookout points and showed us the best spots to take pictures.

JUST got back from this tour. The Valley was closed due to the Ferguson Fire, so we couldn't see El Capitan and the Half Dome BUT we took the Northern route to avoid the smoke, and it was a beautiful day! Toulumne Meadows was a great lunch spot . The lake was beautiful, and the Olmsted Viewpoint overlooked the hazy valley. The granite cliffs at high elevation were amazing. Our driver was Constantine, and he did a great job. He was full of interesting trivia / facts about Yosemite and he gave helpful tips for viewing the Giant Sequoia's Redwood trees. We also saw a mother bear and her two cubs from a safe distance while viewing the Redwoods . The company DID offer me three other tours to replace this one, due to the fire, but I decided to stick with this tour and I am glad i did !
