  • Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
  • Service animals allowed
  • Public transportation options are available nearby
  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Between November and March, when the trail is not safe due to snow and ice accumulation, we substitute the hike with additional time in Yosemite Valley.
  • The Giant Sequoias Grove is located at a higher elevation and the hike is dependent on trail conditions, especially from October through May. Ice and snow might make the trail unsafe to hike. The decision of whether it is safe to go on the hike will be made on a day by day basis. Therefore, a visit cannot be guaranteed. However, while the trail might be closed, guests get to spend more time in Yosemite Valley. There you can see all the other great sights Yosemite has to offer, including El Capitan, Inspiration Point, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls and more.
  • As tour sizes vary, transportation is in a 15-passenger van or up to a 40-passenger tour bus
  • Tour makes stops at approximately 8:30am for breakfast, 1pm for lunch and on the trip back for dinner. Meals are not included
  • For hotel pickups, please select the Hilton Union Square if your hotel is not listed
  • California law requires tour guests to bring a car safety seat for all children under 8 years and under 4' 9" (1.4 meters) in height. Any guest that does not provide their child's safety seat at the time of the tour and does not inform the tour operator may not be allowed to board the tour and will not be subject to refund.

The bus was older and had difficulty keeping the bus cool. On the way back they picked up a camper that was not part of the original group. All the 34 tourists were in the us for few minutes and our guide/chauffeur Mike apologized for the delay and that he contacted his office and they were getting in touch with him and that we should be out of there in 5 minutes. Mike then left the bus with the doors open for the next 30 minutes while they were waiting on the tourist leaving everyone on the bus cooking. When Mike finally closed the door I requested him to turn down the temperature, he asked if it was warm and said it was because the door was open. Another lady from the back yelled that she was cooking. The bus stayed warm and uncomfortable until after the dinner break hours later. I would not recommend them. The trip concluded later than expected. PERIOD

Thanks for your review. We have spoken with the driver about leaving the door open for such a long time, and not adjusting the coach temperature quickly enough. Please contact our Guest Services office @ (415) 357-0700 about our Satisfaction Guarantee.

Roman is just a world class guide. He showed us the best placed, gave good advise what to do on our selves. Beyond he explained a lot and had an excellent mixture of activity and just enjoying the views from the bus. I highly recommend to do that tour at your first day in SF. You will see a lot and get even more ideas what to do and to visit here :)

Our guide, Roman, was very knowledgeable about the history of the CA area and shared with us as we passed through each part. He gave us time to explore Yosemite so we never felt like we had to rush to see the sights. He allowed us to stop several times to take advantage of the breathtaking views in Yosemite. Roman was very flexible on the tour to find places to stop to eat or use the restroom, as the group needed. During our tour, several unexpected things popped up & Roman handled it gracefully & never let it affect the tour. He remained positive, adding humor to the ā€œbumps in the roadā€. I’ve been on many tours throughout the US and overseas and this ranks at the top. It is a long day from San Francisco so be sure to listen to the tips of the guide and bring walking/hiking shoes, the recommended food & water, camera and a great attitude. The beauty of Yosemite is beyond words so it’s a tour you should add to your must do list if you are in CA. Our tour guide, Roman, made the beauty of Yosemite easy to access, understand the history & lots of fun. A must do!!!
