Access to the Sequoia Grove can be difficult during winter months, generally October through April, and other activities may be substituted at the discretion of the guide
During winter months, temperatures in Yosemite can vary drastically to the ones in San Francisco. Therefore, it is recommend to wear winter clothes, especially shoes or boots with rubber soles and treads
California law requires tour guests to bring a car safety seat for all children under 8 years and under 4' 9" (1.4 meters) in height. Any guest that does not provide their child's safety seat at the time of the tour and does not inform the tour operator may not be allowed to board the tour and will not be subject to refund.
As tour sizes vary, transportation is in a 13-passenger van or up to a 41-passenger tour bus
Tour makes stops at approximately 8:30am for breakfast, 1pm for lunch and on the trip back for dinner. Meals are not included

The Giant Sequoias Grove is located at a higher elevation and the hike is dependent on trail conditions, especially from October through May. Ice and snow might make the trail unsafe to hike. The decision of whether it is safe to go on the hike will be made on a day by day basis. Therefore, a visit cannot be guaranteed. However, while the trail might be closed, guests get to spend more time in Yosemite Valley. There you can see all the other great sights Yosemite has to offer, including El Capitan, Inspiration Point, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls and more.

Tuolumne Grove is a sequoia grove located near Crane Flat in Yosemite National Park. It is about 16 miles west of Yosemite Village on Tioga Pass Road. The grove contains many conifers, including a few Sequoiadendron giganteum as well as Abies concolor and Pinus lambertiana. Weather permitting

Fantastic!! Amazing!! Stunning scenery!! We had a thoroughly enjoyable day walking among the sequoia's and walking around the park!! Our tour guide Roman was great and gave us plenty of suggestions / guidance about what to do and where to go!! It is a long day but well planned out :-

Me & my wife (from Italy) have just experienced this tour last Oct 2017. It was stunning. Aioka, our tour guide for the day, picked up us in front of our hotel in San Francsisco with a very comfortable coach , which is important due to the many hourse spent on that. The views have been amazing. We visited the Giant Sequoias first and had ample time to walk down the track to the trees, with a complimentary bottle of water for the trek. We have been blown away with all the natural beauty of El Capitan, Half Dome and the waterfalls in the park. Aioka was fantastic with her broad knowldege to share with all the visitors to the park and we were lucky there had been a fantastic sunny day. We had quite a lot of time to have lunch and wander around the lodge area. Great stop also in Oakdale to purchase food and drinks from a reasonably priced supermarket. Last but not least, Aioka was very kind bringing us on our way back to San Francisco making a further stop in Treasure Island to have a look to the great night overview on SF bay! A very well organised tour, we would highly recommend doing it with AIOKA!
