St. Mary's Glacier
Saint Mary's Glacier is a pristine, semi-permanent mountain snowfield perched above St. Mary's lake in Arapaho National Forest near Yankee Hill Road. Often described as the best of Clear Creek County Jeeping, Yankee Hill Road is a classic traverse of mining roads and Jeep trails that feature steep climbs, big rocks, washed out crossings, and downright challenging obstacles. A maze of trails that can be explored from various start points, Yankee Hill Road is a Colorado jewel. Please note: as the sun sets later during the summer, we adjust our start time to make sure you get the best views and experience! Contact us for exact start times!

What an awesome way to see Colorado. We had family in town (10 People) for a quick 48 hours and did the sunset tour. Branden is a killer guide and made sure everyone was having a good time. He's super knowledgeable about the mountains, the history of mining in Colorado and Jeeping. I would highly recommend these tours for anyone who wants to experience the mountains in a way most visitors never get to, or, for anyone who wants to learn more about how to go Jeeping safely.
