We had a great time on this tour. We didn’t realize the dog camp was so far away from Skagway, but it allowed us to see some beautiful scenery. Mikey, our guide was knowledgeable and fun and made the whole trip memorable. We got to play with several dogs, including the husky puppies! The dog sled ride was fun and it was cool to see the dogs in action. Overall, a very good experience.

Mikey was our driver and tour guide. He was prompt to pick us up by our cruise ship for our 8:00 am tour and was friendly and eager to show us around. There were only six of us on the tour which made the experience very personable. We headed first to a waterfall and then to the Yukon to the dog camp where we were the only ones there which gave us plenty of time to interact with all the puppies and other dogs. Mikey has a great relationship with the dog camp workers and knew most of the dogs by name as well. After our visit to the dog camp, Mikey took us to several other locations where we were able to take many beautiful pictures of the area. He stopped several times at different locations to pick us many varieties of berries to try as well. Mikey took great pictures for us as he knew which angles were best. All in all we had a great time on this tour and the main reason was Mikey. He was knowledgeable about the area and showed us a great time!

Harry made the tour very fun and personable. He stopped at every and any photo opportunity we asked or that he knew of! I expected to see lots of animals and wildlife but quickly learned that the environment wasn’t exactly suitable or sustainable for bears/caribou etc, but it was very fun. Don’t expect to see lots of animals but lots of photos and facts. The dogs were also very friendly and the trainers were super sweet.
