Zephyr Cove Helicopter Tour

Overview

Weight limits apply: Maximum per-passenger weight is 250lbs. Maximum weight of all passengers combined must not exceed 500lbs.

Passenger weights must be accurately provided at time of booking. Groups reaching a combined weight of 500 lbs will be subject to a weight check upon arrival for their flight. Any individual weighing 300 lbs or more will not be permitted to fly per the limitations of the aircraft. Any cancellation of a planned flight due to weights exceeding the maximum allowable aircraft weight (individual or combined) will be charged at full price.

This tour encompasses the entire south shore of Lake Tahoe, starting with a trip up the east shore into Nevada. Witness the beautiful indigo blue waters and teal shorelines as you fly to Zephyr Cove. After circling Zephyr Cove, the tour heads west along the south shoreline past Fallen Leaf Lake and Cascade Lake to Emerald Bay.

What To Expect

Lake Tahoe

Departing the Lake Tahoe Airport, you'll head to the south shore of breathtaking Lake Tahoe, then west along the shoreline to take in the stunning views of this iconic alpine lake. As you fly over the south shore's most popular beaches, take in the unique perspective of the surrounding lakes-- Fallen Leaf Lake and Cascade Lake. After exploring Emerald Bay, the flight returns along the south shoreline on your way to Zephyr Cove, in Stateline Nevada, a favorite beach destination in summer time. The tour then returns to the Lake Tahoe Airport.

We did the Zephyr Cove tour and it was absolutely breath taking. Our pilots name was Jacobi and he was so nice. He was very knowledgeable (as he grew up in South Tahoe). I am personally not fond of heights but once you are up in the air you are in such an ah that the height doesn't make a difference. Jacobi was aware of my fear and was very helpful with letting me know what he was going to do and warned me we were going to have some turbulence so I wouldn't get surprised and frightened when it happened. They offer multiple tours and I will definitely be back to try others.

I am a retired Army Vet with Combat tours in Vietnam and Desert Storm who flew in many helicopter flights. My wife had never flown in a helicopter and this was the perfect opportunity to experience this fantastic experience. Josh is an experienced pilot and guide who not only ensured our safety but gave a fantastic narration of the sights and topography of the South Lake Tahoe area during our flight. This company is fantastic and truly ensures a memorable experience. My wife of 50 years was thrilled and so was i (mainly because nobody was shooting at us during this flight)! We both highly, highly recommend you take the time and spend the money to experience a fantastic flight.
