Part of Zion is only accessible by shuttle for most of the year. So plan to purchase one tour per person in your group unless choosing to share headphones while on the shuttle. If you only plan to visit the driveable part of Zion, purchase just one tour per group (everyone in the car listens together).

What To Expect

Zion National Park

Zion National Park is a southwest Utah nature preserve distinguished by Zion Canyon’s steep red cliffs. Zion Canyon Scenic Drive cuts through its main section, leading to forest trails along the Virgin River. The river flows to the Emerald Pools, which have waterfalls and a hanging garden. Also along the river, partly through deep chasms, is Zion Narrows wading hike.

Zion Canyon Visitor Center

Continue straight. Just before the bridge, you’ll see a path on the left. That’s the start of the Pa’rus Trail. And just after the bridge is another path -- the Watchman Trail. Both are popular hikes with great views at the end.

Zion Human History Museum

While we don’t know too much about those Ice Age hunters, newer residents left their stories behind. Around 300 BCE, people started settling down here and farming. They grew squash and corn, and gradually learned how to better cultivate the land and survive the unforgiving climate. One group, the Fremont, cultivated a drought- and cold-resistant species of corn which could thrive even at high altitudes.

Court of the Patriarchs

Whew, what a view! Those three mountains are the iconic Court of the Patriarchs. And who are these patriarchs? Well, a local Christian minister named them after three figures from the Bible: Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, from left to right.

Emerald Pools

First, bring lots of water! You may think you’ve got enough… but you probably don’t. This might seem obvious, but Utah’s heat is unforgiving, and heat-stroke or sun-stroke can easily ruin a fun vacation. Second, make sure you don’t overtax yourself! Hiking around here is going to be more difficult than you might be used to, thanks to the elevation. Be sure you don’t embark on journeys you’re not certain you’ll be able to finish.

Angel's Landing

This park has a ton of great trails, but Angel’s Landing stands in a league of its own. Those who complete the hike describe it as a breathtaking experience like no other, offering impossible views and a major adrenaline rush.

Temple of Sinawava Trail

To see the Narrows, you’ll want to follow the paved Riverwalk all the way to the end. It’s a flat, easy walk, full of beautiful greenery and towering natural skyscrapers. But before you set off, let’s talk about the Temple of Sinawava.

Canyon Overlook Trail

The Canyon Overlook Trail is one of East Zion’s finest -- even though it’s short and easy. Why? Simple -- the spectacular views from the top.

Checkerboard Mesa

Look at that mesa rising into the sky. Notice anything peculiar? As you get closer, you should be able to make out a strange grid of criss-crossed lines all over it. It looks a bit like a checkerboard, which is how it gets the name Checkerboard Mesa!

I could not get cell service to use the self driving tour of Zion. I do not recommend getting this unless your cell phone works in canyons.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Yes, cell signal is horrible at all national Parks but we do recommend downloading the tour before you arrive at Zion National Park. The tour works offline. But anyways We’d also be happy to offer a refund since you didn’t have a great experience.

The address you gave us took us to a wrong place , we use Apple Map , we tried to call , no telp number to call on the voucher or Viator side , I text them at around 800 and no answer till 11.37 . When we finally arrived at the meeting place , tried to call the no , no answer till 11.37 . In the mean time the person in the Kane visitors center offered another co that still has opening in the afternoon , so we use them , since we have not heard from you , please refund our money

Perhaps you called TripAdvisor or Viator and not us. We can also see that the password email and text message were sent to you on time. (Please check your spam folder if you don’t see it). You can get our contact info from the password email, text message, website, or from our app. We’re available all day over call, chat, and email. Lastly, this is a self-guided tour, not a guided one. There is no guide to meet at the starting place. The starting place is simply the starting location of the self-guided tour. Please be sure to follow the 4 Steps laid out in the password email, which explains what to do.

We asked for a refund because when we got to the visitor center they told us we had to ride a shuttle in Zion's and we would have to buy it from Zion's. The tickets for the tram were sold out so we couldn't go.

This is a self-guided tour and not a shuttle ticket, as described above. It is possible to enjoy this tour while visiting Zion via any vehicle (car, shuttle, bike, RV) but we don’t provide that transportation — this is only a tour. Nevertheless, we are always happy to refund if the experience wasn’t a great one. Please contact us with your booking receipt.
