ZooTampa at Lowry Park

ZooTampa is a wonderful ace to visit and learn about animals. ZooTampa Member for 2 years. Take time to go visit for a few hours, you won’t regret it.

We wanted to see Zoo Tampa in person after watching Secrets of the Zoo for so long. All of the employees were extremely nice and helpful. We went on a weekday and did not have to wait in line for the African Safari adventure. You can't compare the zoo to Disney properties, Seaworld or Busch Gardens, where there seems to be plenty of financial backing. These animals are being cared for and protected for species survival. Since eateries were limited in the zoo, we got stamped, headed out for lunch at a nearby grill and returned to continue our zoo experience. We are looking forward to using our zoo membership and taking friends to enjoy it with us. A bonus is that our membership allows us to visit over 200 other zoos as well.

This was a terrible experience. The staff did not want to be bothered. Almost all of the rides were closed. I drove up an hour from where we were staying to visit this zoo. It was an expensive Dud. The animals actually looked sad. Not worth the money of a single use ticket.
