All Gone Surfing Hawaii lessons start on the sand with ocean awareness and safety. Then we get you right into the surf for a rush of wind and waves. No worries, our licensed instructors are trained in first aid and lifeguard CPR. Once in the water, we show you how to read the waves, position your take off, and the etiquette of wave riding. Whether you’re a one-on-one type or you prefer fun with friends, our customized lessons are built to make your adventure on the waves one to remember.

We had Trevor for our instructor, he was wonderful!! Very friendly and helpful. This was our first time surfing and we were surprised to stand/surf on all attempts. The hardest part was paddling out to the waves. We were very happy with Gone Surfing Hawaii, try it!!

My wife & took an 8am lesson with Shawn on a relatively overcast morning just today. Shawn was an excellent instructor and was very engaging and fun to be with for the morning. The sun broke through once we got out on the water and it was a lovely morning. Both Shawn and Trevor were fantastic hosts with great local intel and funny stories/chat. It was my first time surfing (my wife was raised in San Diego...so clearly not her first time) and Shawn prepped us on the beach using his 4 step technique which allowed me to get up the first time! I highly, highly recommend going out with this crew as they are superb and well worth booking a lesson with!

My 1st time surfing was a blast! Jared was our teacher and he was so laid back and also super helpful at getting us to ride the waves! I only missed 1 of my waves! Jared gave us instructions about what kind of conditions we were surfing in and we practiced our technique on Land before heading out to the ocean. Once we were out there he would give clear instructions while we were getting ready to ride a wave. Can't wait to see our pics and videos! Highly recommend especially for your first time surfing.
