Kahala

Cependant, vous pouvez toujours voir The Dragon!

Byodo-In Temple
126
North Shore Macadamia Nut Company

This was my first trip to Hawaii as well as my mother's first time who was my partner on this trip. I'd recommend going sooner than later as this is a great opportunity to find out from a local where to eat, shop, etc. I can't say enough about Ryan. He is the "little guy" among giants, but this provided an opportunity for a more personal experience. He was very knowledgeable and provided sufficient time to enjoy the various stops whether it was at lunch, at the beach or sightseeing. This group goes to the lesser traveled stops from other tours in order to support the smaller local vendors which I can appreciate. This doesn't mean the tour is any less valuable, it shows more thought was put into the authentic experience of the traveler. It does turn out to be a long day but if the idea is the pack a big punch in a short trip, this is a great way to do it. Ryan provided water and at least 2 stops had free coffee. There are plenty of opportunities to eat at local places as well as shopping. We ate at Fumis instead of the more popular other food truck because they source their shrimp (which was amazing) locally vs sourcing from a big box store like others. The price point was great, especially with the coupon code we found in the coupon book provided by the hotel. There is no doubt that visiting Hawaii is expensive, but this is one way to grab a good dose of local culture within a reasonable budget.

Tyrone is a star! Carpool karoke on the longest trip back to the hotel was the icing on the cake. He was engaging, knowledgeable, funny and thorough with instructions on each stop. The stops were perfect and we got to see so much more than had we hired a car and gone on our own. 7 Elevens will always hold great memories now, thanks so much Ty!!
