This was the highlight of our two-day visit to Charleston. Engaging, entertaining and informative, our tour guide (Scott) made the history of the city come alive for us. The pace was relaxed enough for walkers of all ages (even babies with strollers and elderly with canes). Scott candidly offered suggestions and critigues of other things to do (and eat/drink) as we passed near them. We feel much more knowledgeable about the pre-Colonial, Colonial, pre-war and Civil War eras affecting Charleston and thus, the south.
One note: we had perfect weather with aided our enjoyment immensely. We might have enjoyed it less in the rain or during a super-crowded period. Right after Halloween seemed less crowded.
