26 Croisière sur glacier et autocar au départ d'Anchorage

Aperçu
We make it easy to see it all in one day! Relax on the coach as the driver guide narrates while you enjoy the beauty of Turnagain Arm. On the cruise get ready to view one of the largest concentration of glaciers in Alaska. Weather, ice conditions and wildlife activity changes daily and our captains may adjust the route to provide the best cruise experience while keeping your safety and comfort a top priority. We take pride in ensuring that your time with us is an enjoyable memory that becomes a favorite highlight of your Alaska vacation.

We operate first-class catamarans. Due to their dual hull design, these powerful high-speed catamarans are extremely stable and able to smoothly navigate through the narrow fjords and passages that lead us to the face of massive glaciers. By operating safely and efficiently, Phillips provides a comfortable cruise and our No Seasickness Guarantee assures nervous cruisers the confidence that they will enjoy our cruise without any unpleasant effects.

The day began by being crammed into a seat that was about the size of a small plane seat with less leg room. It was packed full and there was really no place to go as part of the outdoor areas were blocked off. Food was served, we didnt expect much as we were there for glaciers, not food. Soon my legs were aching, one cheek off the seat, the other on to give a tiny bit of room to the inside passenger. It didnt take long to understand that this was nothing like the cruise we took two days earlier in Seward. The crew was distant and the "ranger" seemed out of her element. She sounded like she was refering to a script or book she brought, pulling out half sentence phrases, not spotting wildlife, unable to give locations and no excitement with where she was. Long amounts of time passed where people played on cell phones and talked amongst themselves because not a thing was going on. I know there is a history of this area, both natural and human. I left learning nothing new, what a shame. The oil spill was glossed over, wouldnt want us to all learn something from that disaster, as well as any projects that might be out there that involved protecting species, monitoring them, improving habitat. The couple we were seated with said it best: " there was no excitement, no passion." Thats just plain sad. I wanted so much to see this cruise and honestly, I cant reccomend it.

The up close views of the glacier were incredible and the salmon chowder was delicious. The only thing uncomfortable for me was facing two strangers at our table with little to no legroom.
