One member in our party had limited mobility and so we were seeking an experience where all of us could enjoy Martha's Vineyard. We stumbled upon the MV Tours website and fortunately the 3 hour small group tour of the island was being offered during our time there. We highly enjoyed and recommend this trip to others. Our tour guide, Wayne, was a local and extremely informative. We learned so much about the island - the history, the differences between the 6 different towns, Jaws scenes, what island life is really like during the wintertime, how the island has changed over the years, etc., If you've never been to MV and/or are staying for a few days, it's worthwhile to take this tour. So many day trippers just enter and stay in Oak Bluffs, but this tour shows you how much more the island has to offer and how it isn't just a playground for the rich & famous. I especially liked the stop at the Aquinnah cliffs and seeing more of that area. My only wish is that there was at least one more stop (perhaps a 20 minute stop to stroll around Edgartown?) on the tour. Note: If visiting during the shoulder season (September/October) just be sure to call ahead; tours aren't offered every day.

We had a great time on this tour. Rich was very friendly and informative. We learned a lot of interesting facts about the island and saw a lot of great scenic points along the way.

We had an excellent tour and our guide was very knowledgeable on many fronts from the history to geography to the current inhabitants. We saw the whole island in the three hour tour and walked away with an appreciation of the island's unique past. We made stops at several very scenic spots. Great day trip.
