Visite géologique privée de 4 heures dans le parc national des Rocheuses

Aperçu
In the comfort of your own vehicle, our knowledgeable step-on geologist guide, Ranger Rod, will direct you through Rocky Mountain National Park. He will take photos of your group's adventure as you travel through time in RMNP witnessing evidence of major rock and mineral forming processes that took place billions of years ago. Discover ancient mountains that started rising shortly after the dinosaurs went extinct, as well as landscape formed by later volcanic eruptions. More recently (in geologic time) learn how the mountains were sculpted by massive ice age glaciers and about early human history after the valley glaciers covering the area melted 12 thousand years ago. Seeing these natural wonders through the eyes of an experienced local geologist, will evolve your worldview of mountain landscapes and enhance future RMNP adventures.

6 hour tour times are only available in the summertime when Trail Ridge Rd is open, 4 hour tour reservations are available year-round.

Our family took a tour with Rod and Jessy and it was absolutely incredible! They both make you feel like family, and we're so accommodating to our 6 and 7 year old kids! We got to see elk in the parking lot and a ram coming back down TRR! We learned so much about the park from Rod and got some amazing photos with Jessy! It was absolutely breathtaking! If your on the fence about taking the tour, or going up TRR yourself.. take the tour you won't regret it!

My friends, family and I have been regular RMNP visitors and hikers for decades now, and we love the Park. Our tour with Ranger Rod was amazing, adding a dimension to the Park we didn’t even know we cared about! Ranger Rod is a natural teacher with a deep understanding of the geology of RMNP and he loves the area as much as we do. A real bonus was Rod’s innate ability to make people feel at ease and his outstanding sense of humor, he made it fun as well as incredibly interesting. I would highly recommend booking a tour with Ranger Rod, you will not be disappointed!

Best tour ever! What an experience, I've lived within an hour or 2 of RMNP my whole life, but never appreciated its complexities until now. Ranger Rod's tour will open your eyes, his geological expertise will give you a new perspective on the park and the incredible and powerful forces that created and then sculpted the rock over millions of years. He also helped me understand much about mountain building and glaciers that has allowed me to better understand the rock world around me. You will come away from Ranger Rod's tour with new eyes on the geology that surrounds us all. You'll never see rocks the same way, he will indeed change your world view.
