From the Pier to Paradise. You’ll sail by the beautiful shorelines of St. Pete, pass under the stunning Sunshine Skyway bridge and perhaps see a dolphin or two! This is the only charter offering service from downtown St. Petersburg traveling to Egmont Key and passing under the Sunshine Skyway.

You will have 2 hours on Egmont Key to explore the pristine beaches, historic lighthouse, ruins of Ft. Dade, and the amazing wildlife before your return trip. Please note you will have to step into shallow water when going on the island.

Unlike all other boat services to Egmont Key, The Pelican St Pete will stay with you on the island - bathrooms and a bit of shade if needed, available the entire time.

Excellent adventure in every way! Took my two kids for a morning cruise. We all had a great time. The boat is spacious clean and comfortable. Bathrooms and air conditioned area are a HUGE plus! Kids had fun exploring the island and the beach. Saw several turtles and the waves were perfect for the kids. Make sure you go to the other side of the island to see the beach and collect some shells. They have shell bags on the boat! I enjoyed just floating in the water after exploring a bit. The crew and captain are fantastic! Very friendly and super helpful. My kids are already asking when we can go again. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing escape to paradise!

This was an awesome experience, especially for the price! I was slightly hesitant about booking since there were only 2 reviews at the time. So glad we decided to follow through! The boat was clean, large and well-kept. There were multiple coolers on board with waters as well! The music was good and loud enough to enjoy. Smooth sailing as we sailed 1 hour one-way, under the famous skyway bridge. We saw dolphins while sailing and the captain made effort to steer the boat in a large circle so that the dolphins stayed a bit longer! The crew members were also very willing to take photos of the guests on board. Once we got to the island, we were given complimentary snorkeling equipment that was high quality. The snorkeling near the island is mainly for shells, not so much fish. The island is beautiful with picnic areas in the trees (so make sure to bring some snacks and beverages!). Tortoises wander the island and half of the island is a bird sanctuary. We were not aware of how new this experience was at the time of booking. Turns out the news was onboard and were documenting the trip for Bay News 9 to spread the word! Overall, this experience is well worth the money and is a great little getaway from Downtown St. Pete. Super convenient that it leaves from the pier as well.
