We bought a tour for my son, a lover of all things aeronautical. We lucked out that the skies opened up for the first time in a couple of weeks, giving us some nice clear conditions. Unfortunately, the wind picked up, so we were told that it wouldn't be safe to take the Waterfalls tour. Rather than coming back for safer conditions, my son decided that he'd be happy doing a Portland tour. The pilot, Spencer, was extraordinarily considerate in suggesting that the wind might cause some air sickness and gave my son a garbage bag in case. Fortunately, it was not needed - the flight was pretty smooth flying to downtown Portland. It was great to see a lot of familiar landmarks from overhead. Spencer was a great guide and pilot. Afterwards, he and my son were able to geek out a bit about planes and he gave us a couple of suggestions for good airplane museums that we hadn't been to. I would recommend and might go ahead and do the Gorge tour when the conditions are more favorable.

Happy to hear it all worked in spite of the weather and you enjoyed your Portland tour. We would love to fly with you again through the Gorge when the threat of wind goes away!

Everything was great about this. The employees at Envi were terrific, the flight was super cool, and the price was way better than I expected. Highly recommend and will be back to do other flights.
