I can’t praise this flight enough with Maverick. Well organised, easy to find location at the Grand Canyon airport, and professional pilot. To view the canyon in this way was truly breath-taking. Our 12 year old was in awe. We all agreed this was the highlight of our fantastic California road trip. We flew at 8 in the morning which was calm and beautiful.

We took an 8am 45-min flight on August 1, 2019. What an amazing experience that was worth every penny and more! Our pilot (Joe?) was awesome! If you have the chance, book a flight. Experiencing the Grand Canyon from the air is not something you can describe, you have to experience it! The helicopters seats 7 people so you will likely be grouped with another party and seats are assigned based on weight. We were fortunate to have the helicopter to ourselves (maybe because of the early booking) so we all had great seats - 3 in front and one in the back in a window seat. Will definitely do this again one day!
