I went on this museum/tour with my best friend. Jim was an incredible tour guide. He was patient and kind as well. My friend and I were very young when the 9/11 tragedy occurred, so it was truly a learning experience for both of us. The way Jim spoke about the significance of the St. Paul's church gave me chills and I even teared up a bit. It reminded me that God somehow still makes His presence known, even when there's destruction.
I liked how Jim spoke about where he was when 9/11 happened and just the full circle moment with how he now works as a tour guide and gave up bartending. In addition to that, we enjoyed learning about the heroes of 9/11, all of the stories were truly moving. What happened in 2001 is heartbreaking and I've been thinking about what I saw and learned since this tour and I'm constantly moved to tears when I think about this tragedy. But, despite all of that, the museum is INCREDIBLE and so detailed. The people that put all of this together as a team, really knew what they were doing to help people from all over understand what exactly went on. I definitely would like to go back and bring more people. Jim is a 10/10 tour guide. I wish I had cash on me to tip him!
