This experience was sold as a combo. Viator used Attractions4You for guide services. It was sold as a 5 hour experience to go through Ellis Island Museum, seeing Lady Liberty, then going to 9/11 Museum and Memorial. The tour was scheduled to start at 1pm on a Sunday. The tour guide met us 1pm to literally walk us to the line and left. She never gave us an armband or tickets to confirm both tours. I never received an Apple wallet ticket or a bar code. I was sent a pdf voucher, that’s it. It took 2 hours of standing in line to go through security and wait for the ferry to take you to Ellis Island. We got to EI at 3pm, and had to skip parts of the tour in order to catch last ferry to NYC. Didn’t get to the Statue of Liberty. Get to 9/11 and we have no tickets to scan or a barcode just a downloaded pdf page. That was not getting us entry. After spending my day in line for most of of it, this was not a good experience. I do not recommend taking two big exhibits like that in one day. You will not truly get to enjoy it. You are standing in huge lines of people for security, then a long line for ferry, then another long for ferry to get back. Didn’t get to 9/11 Museum. The EI Museum was extremely interesting, didn’t get to see it all but Go see it, and you don’t need a guide, plan ahead for it to be a long day, go in the morning so you can wrap up by lunch then after lunch go to 9/11. Don’t use Attractions4You ever. They just rob you.

On a blistery cold day, our tour guide, Leanne, went above and beyond to keep my family informed and engaged at every step of the way. Her history lessons and humorous stories made the visit richer and more enjoyable. And her clear instructions and strong knowledge of the venue enables us all to stay together without hassle. We are anxious to do another tour with viator.
