Everyone recommended the river architecture tour, and they were not wrong. If you only have time to do one thing in Chicago, it should be this. Big fan. Recommend timing the trip to coincide with sunset, it was perfect lighting.

Pros: Great staff, wonderful guide, easy to hear, interesting for all ages in our group (adults, young adults and a 17 yr old). Loved the lake/river combo. Fun facts and educational, amazing views. I thought the seats were plenty comfortable. There is a bathroom on board, lower level has temp control if needed. I didn't visit the bar, but can buy all types of beverages. Con: The only improvement I'd make is more organization at the top of the stairs before going down to scan your ticket and board. The staff person at the top wasn't very outgoing or forthcoming with info. No signage or communication on which cruise is currently boarding or a clear line for people to wait til their cruise boards. Granted...I do dislike a line cutter or that person who always pushes their way to the front over those who have been waiting 1/2 hour. There's one in every crowd. But that wasn't a deal breaker. Book it, you won't regret it.
