Curious about Portland's history with railroads, fires, wars, famous poets and Hollywood producers? Join us for a Walk Through Time! This tour begins on Commercial Street and continues for 2 hours through the historic Old Port, downtown and waterfront areas, sharing highlights of Portland's history since 1632.

Some of the locations we may feature on your tour include; the lobster statue, the home of Henry Wadsworth-Longfellow and his place of worship, the Eastern Cemetery, the Abyssinian Church, the U.S. Customs House and more.

***Tour duration is two "ish" hours, based on guest engagement and pace of the group. Planning on 2.5 hours for arriving early to check-in and make it back to your vehicle post tour is recommended.

Mike was an amazing, interesting, energetic tour guide. I’d recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history of Portland!

We really enjoyed this tour with Mike. He was a great guide that really enjoyed sharing the history of Portland with us. This was a great way to see the city, learn its history and also get restaurant tips!!!! Great day!

Mike was a foodie guide before he moved over completely to the history side. Had to keep reminding him, "Mike, it's a food tour with history, not a history tour with food" and then had an epiphany to just let him roll with the history side and we haven't looked back as that's where his primary passion leans =) He will be as pleased as we are to hear you had a great time and thank you for reviewing A Walk Through Time!
