Our guide was knowledgeable, he knew a lot about Portland. I like the old history best but he also knew the newer things, like the best donut shop. He gave recommendations for good restaurants and and other things to do, like taking a ferry ride. Best of all, he was a nice guy!

We were lucky enough to come off season so my daughter and I had tourguide James all to ourselves. He was very knowledgeable and we even stopped at the bakery for a little treat. Highly recommmend taking a tour to get a feel for the city.

A walking tour is THE way to sightsee because you can easily take pictures at any time and actually SEE the sights. And they are flexible! Our cruise ship tender was late, and our guide arranged for the tour group to stay in the area so we could catch up! His knowledge of the area and the historic sites was impressive! The sites themselves were enjoyable and the scenery gorgeous! Lots of walking, but not strenuous or tiring. The tour price was very affordable, and size of group made it easy to ask questions. Don't turn down this opportunity.
