This incredible wildlife corridor was also home to an old logging and whiskey distilling community during Prohibition. Who knew the OBX had black bear and endangered red wolves? Our tour guide Bella was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. The water was very pretty and peaceful. The only downside was that we only saw one tiny alligator. So, I guess it was more about the kayaking and the area. She said we could swim and I probably would have if I brought my bathing suit because it was very hot that day.

Great tour guide, Pep, had a lot of knowledge and easy to talk to. Great and easy kayak tour where we saw an alligator and turtle!! Relaxing and fun for the whole family!!! Recommend!!!!!

Great experience! My wife and I love wildlife of all kinds and we enjoyed seeing many of the birds, reptiles and mammals of the river. Courtney was a very knowledgeable guide and we enjoyed comparing with her the wildlife of NC and the wildlife found in our home in Tanzania, East Africa. We would definitely recommend.
