We had a great day taking our two daughters to the museum. They really enjoyed going to the different continents and learning about the people and the animals. The dinosaurs and the sea creatures displays were also exciting.

We "purchased tickets" to NYC's Natural History Museum on trip advisor, only to discover upon arrival that we ALSO had to claim the tickets through the museum website. This 2-step process was not clear in TripAdvisor's documentation, and a non-functioning "download tickets" button in the TA app didn't help either. After standing in line for an hour in the blazing sun, we were told all tickets were sold out. We left exhausted and sad. Don't be like us.
