Anchorage Aurora Quest - Visite photo des aurores boréales

This is the longest-running northern lights photo tour in the Anchorage area. We pick you up at your Anchorage accommodations and take you on a nocturnal adventure to witness the beauty of the Alaskan night sky. It's a great option for any travelers to Alaska during August to late April. This tour accommodates serious photographers to sightseers.

We conduct a daily update that includes both the aurora borealis and weather forecast. The tour runs based on that forecast, but runs only if the forecast indicates a chance of seeing the aurora. Because both weather and the aurora borealis are natural phenomena, we cannot guarantee seeing the northern lights.

This tour increases your chance of aurora viewing success by allowing you to reserve as many nights as you like [space available] and only finalizing payment 48 hours in advance under the Reserve Now & Pay Later system. If you do not see the northern lights during your tour, you get a free make-up tour.

Carl was awesome!! He was very knowledgeable about the northern lights and was super nice/helpful. Offered us hot chocolate and snacks and gave us amazing pictures to admire forever! I will say however, it was just me and my husband on this tour and maybe we watch too many murder documentaries, but we were sketched out a little bit with it being just us riding 3 hours into a state we know nothing about with a man we know nothing about and no phone service. Nothing against Carl though, he was awesome! It might of made us feel better if it was a group and not just us.

Hopefully your imagination did not deter from having fun! For a good Alaska murder mystery, I recommend "Insomnia." Glad to hear that we took good care of you, though, and that the experience was memorable. I hope you join us again sometime!

We could not say enough about this tour. Carl was a true professional with a wealth of knowledge. he is a SME on the northern lights and top notch photographer. He was extremely helpful with us photographing the scenes and very patient in adjusting the camera. He picked us up at the hotel on time and took us to some of the most beautiful places to see the lights. Great experience and we highly recommend his tour not to mention the trip to Alaska!

What a great trip. We ventured along the Knik River looking for the Northern Lights. Our guide was knowledgeable about the aurora predictions. He assisted me setting up my camera and taught me how to take photographs at night. We were able to see the aurora and I got some great pictures. Our guide took my picture with the aurora in the background. I highly recommend this trip. It is well worth the money. They are a great company to work with. This is my second trip with them.
