This was a very disappointing tour. The guide spent more time talking about himself than the city of anchorage. While you do travel through the forest and out to beluga point, you likely won't see any wildlife unless the conditions are just right. If you are looking for transportation to all of the tourist gift shops and being pushed to buy more things, then this tour is for you. Let's also not forget that you will receive a rude text the day before essentially telling you to arrive early and don't be rude and ask for a bathroom break on a 4 hour tour (so don't drink a bunch of coffee before you get aboard the too small motor coach that they will pack you in like sardines in).

I am so sorry you did not like the $49.00 city tour which followed the description you chose. The description tells you that you will make several stops at the ULU Factory, Wildberry Products to see the largest waterfall and we do make a stop at Alaska Sausage and Seafood so that you can taste wild Alaska salmon and reindeer sausage and yes you can purchase or not. The driver/guide does tell you about the history of Anchorage and sometimes highlights what its like to live here in 24 hour daylight and winter darkness. As for the text we do let everyone know that there is no public restrooms at the pick up point and that due to Covid shops/restaurants in the area don't allow the public to use their restrooms. This is so that you know to take care of business prior to going to the pick up location. No body likes to be told that there is no restroom when they really need to go and besides why hold up the van full of passengers am I right? Our driver guide will make stops along the route for restrooms. The van is a spacious walk in van with captain seats but you are right it is not a stretch limo. We are at the height of the season and most vans go out full capacity with just fourteen passengers not like a bus of 30 something so the tour is not crowded and you are not herded around. Your driver guide did everything that was on the description of the tour you purchased and more like the scenic drive down Turnagain Arm to Beluga Point and to the area Dahl Sheep are often spotted. Remember you purchased a city tour and we went above and beyond to show you scenery while going to areas that there is a good chance to see wildlife. Perhaps if you wanted to see wildlife you should have chose our Wildlife and Turnagain Arm Tour which goes to the Wildlife Conservation Center which is $99.00 per person instead of the $49.00 City Tour. I don't know what else to say except that when you write a review please tell us what more we could have showed you that was not on the description you chose. This would be helpful to add to our tour in the future. I hope this helps you.

The day prior, I received a rude text telling me multiple times to use the restroom and to arrive early. You are essentially paying someone to drive you to all the tourist shops for souvenirs. We did drive through a forest and out to beluga point. The driver kept saying we would see some wildlife but we saw none. Understanding that wildlife are unpredictable, that was fine but we mostly spent the day listening to the driver talk about his personal life and being encouraged to buy more stuff from tourist shops. The driver even stopped once at Starbucks and acted like it was such a rare opportunity to visit. The van size was entirely too small for the number of passengers that were squeezed in.
