What a great trip! I should say at the outset that the tour was to include a helicopter ride and a trip to Antelope Canyon. The day before the trip and the company owner, Korey, explained to me that the helicopter ride would not be available due to maintenance issues and that Antelope Canyon was still closed by the Navajo Nation due to covid. "Do you want to cancel your trip? We can work out some alternatives," said Korey. And he did, proposing a trip to Lee's Ferry on the Colorado River, a historic, scenic site, along with Horseshoe Bend. I was in! I turned out to be the only person on the trip, along with our guide and a person who was newish to the company. Between the two of them and myself, we had a fantastic time as I learned more and more about the area. If presented with the opportunity to go to Lee's Ferry if Antelope Canyon is closed, be sure to take it.
